Zen Mix After Alpha and Beyond Beta!

Well… Zen Mix at http://zenmix.com has been running since 2006 and a few interface wishes have now come true.
1.Mixes can now be viewed in Fullscreen
2. There is a “login” link on the first screen
3. There is a “new” button on the files menu
The last two could previously be accomplished with the PREV and NEXT buttons but this was not very intuitive. There is currently still a glitch when displaying High Definition videos in Zen Mix – this seems to be due to the old Flash Player and may be corrected one day. For now, just resize the high definition video in the Zen Mix Tool until it looks good in the Zen Mix Player.

Blip is Bleeped and 200 Zen Vlog Vids Move to Amazon Cloud

Zen Vlog Videos Moved from Blip to Amazon S3
Well… it has not been an easy ride for poor Zen Mix videos. First Vimeo changed formats so a hundred videos had to be moved to Blip.TV. Then Blip.TV went to their own player only and 200 videos have now been moved to Amazon Cloud. Should be permanent there!
Apologies for Mixes being down, they should all be working now but if you catch any missing, please leave a comment!

A Little Blip in our Programming…

Well… rats… 170 videos on http://zenvlog.com no longer working with my Vlogging tool Zen Mix – http://zenmix.com. The videos are hosted on Blip.tv and now Blip has changed their policy and their server code to not let other players but their own play the videos. I suppose I can move them over to YouTube – but YouTube does not easily expose the source – I have to set up a tunnel on my server. Any other suggestions for Video hosting where you get the URL to the file?

For years, Inventor Dan Zen has been doing psychedelic dancing as exercise and encourages everyone to try it out. As you watch any of the psychedelic dancing videos below – get up out of your seat and give it a go – and then – hey, start your own Woodstock!
Psychedelic dancing is a free-form flow of fingers, arms, head and trunk of body with a swaying of the legs and a gyration of the hips. It is great for pumping air through the lungs and stretching in a creative manner. As such, if you are finding your Thai Chi a little repetitive and want more cardio than Yoga… give it a whirl. It is easier to do than belly dancing and it gives you expressive freedom.
We hope that Ang Lee’s Taking Woodstock movie has some wild dancing scenes – and mood and freedom meme the youth of the day.

Psychedelic Dancing Out-take Surfaces due to Reposting of Videos

I just happened to want to do some psychedelic dancing as exercise and looked up psychedelic dancing on google. And as has been for the last couple years… there Dan Zen is as the number one psychedelic dancer in the world!
So I clicked on the link and noticed almost right away that the video in the Zen Mix was not the usual video for the very first episode of Psychedelic Dancing as Exercise.
Back a while ago I had to re-upload over 7o videos to Blip.tv when Vimeo stopped supporting the flv.
Well it turns out that in the video I uploaded there is a major calamity part way through – have a look to see what I mean! And here it is showing up in most watched top google search! I hope to show the people the wonderful healing powers of psychedelic dancing as exercise and how it is so good for the muscles because you ease and flow rather than snap and pound them and then this happens!

Psychedelic dancing as exercise set to the psychedelic filming of sixties album covers in high exposure darkness. This features a Zen Mix on top of a Zen Mix. You can replace the image field with a swf in this case another Zen Mix of background video on a blank picture. You can use the file links at the bottom of the mix to see what I mean.
Caribou is playing the feature song. They have a couple more I’d like to dance to too and there was a good one a while back. They are from Dundas – as am I. They are currnet – I think this song came from their album before their last one currently.
We talk about getting down in this mash of mixes. It would be a cooler world if everyone with headphones on got down as they walked along the sidewalk and halls instead of walking like a zombie. Well okay… walking like a real zombie has a bit of getting down involved in it.

It will come to be that Professor Y makes a foot pressured interface that applies flux to a fragment of anti-gravity material and creates the first sky board recreational and transportation device!
META is a sci-fi story based in the times of the Dan Zen game, Save Earth.
A premise has been written in the form of a prophetic poem. The verses will be put into a Zen Mix and will be posted here over the next while.
We would like to encourage this type of story telling using Zen Mix. And indeed, if anyone would like to make a mix of any of the META episodes, please feel free to post the link to the mix in the comments of the episode post. It is so easy to do that we started our first one with an eight-year old daughter! Click above…

With the quark microscope, Professor Y finds a way to increase and decrease the gravity field through quantum superconductor techniques.

It will come to be that pilots with greater than average merit points will form a council that governs the usage of the anti-gravity material. A councilor’s vote weighting will be equal to their merit point weighting.

It will come to be that the material of the sphere is anti-gravity and cracks along its circles and segments. Professor Y distributes the material to the surprised and gratified pilots based on their standings.

It will come to be that once the macro-crystalline sphere is mapped, the patterns when substituted with 0-9 form PI to over a million decimals and Professor Y shatters the sphere with a frequency resonance

It will come to be that Professor Y makes a secret deal with the World Government that if he cracks the sphere, he will get all the material!

It will come to be that millions of patterns in grids in sectors in quadrants are mapped and tagged with pilot names including missed patterns which gain the pilots merit points. The pilots will perform with efficiencies and acquire standing.

It will come to be that Professor Y sets up SensoryNet remote controls and a fleet of volunteer pilots fly probes which spray oxygen against the sphere surrounding Earth to map its macro-crystaline structure.
Here is the META verse 03…
It will come to be that Professor Y determines the material of the sphere to be macro-crystaline with ten circular segmented patterns. Professor Y proposes that by mapping the patterns he can formulate a frequency to crack the sphere.

It will come to be quite the task for the world government whose eyes turn to Professor Y for aid. Mad Inventor, Professor Y, will have just made the owners of velcro rich by designing velcro self cleansing environmental filters.

It will come to be that on the eve of forming a world government a sphere of undetermined material surrounds earth letting sustenance in but not much out. It is assumed that the sphere is alien in construction – none claims responsibility.

It will come to be that a new organization called the Free Nations will play watchdog to the United Nations and in 2020 after years of policy battle, the two will combine to form the World Government.
